NAV 2015 - Upgrade Toolkit from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 or SP1 to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015.

Hi all,

With Cumulative Update 1 for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 Microsoft have released Upgrade Toolkit for Data Migration From NAV 2009 SP1 / R2 to NAV 2015.

This Tool will reduce the effort that consultant have in case the data is migrated in Two Steps or Three Steps.

Let's read the PDF released with the Data Migration Tool and  See how easy or difficult it is to move data from NAV 2009 to NAV 2015.





So in short i can say That below are the stages that we have to go through for Data Migration From Different NAV Versions.

This Upgrade Toolkit will reduce the task of the developer which upgrading the Customer From Version 2009 to 2015, at same time it will reduce the cost of upgrade.

Will give it a try in future first in standard database and then in customer database. will share the results of the Testing Data Migration Tool.

Still waiting for NAV 2015 for IN Version, still no news from Microsoft for same.
